Politics or belief has nothing to do with it. Men and women serve around the world to preserve freedom. Thank you heroes, past and present, for serving in uniform. God bless our troops and their families this Veterans Day.
Thank you Vets, most likely you will never see the recognition you deserve, I pray one day people will understand what you have sacrificed and continue to sacrifice, keep yourselves safe.
I can. Thank you to everybody, past & present, who dares to wear a uniform in service to our country. And yesterday was the birthday of the Marine Corps, so happy birthday to every Marine out there! Semper Fi!
I am thankful for those who had served to protect the freedoms of our country. I am most thankful for those who have knowingly placed themselves in a position that resulted in death because they perceived that it would enable our military forces to be victorious, thereby ensuring my safety and freedom. To be honest, these persons have conducted themselves in a manner of which I am not capable. Subjection to tyranny of earthly forces is not a condition which I view sufficient to sacrifice my life to preventing. I am grateful for, and in awe of, those who have been able to place my temporal benefit above the value they held of their own life.
Veterans,
we love you, we appreciate your service to our country. We understand what you have gone through on our behalf. We are grateful for your dedication and sacrifice. We will never forget you. We honor you all today and every day. God Bless you and your families.
I do thank the Veterans every day by supporting every thing they do and represent. Just a year ago, we had a memorial service for an uncle who was KIA/PH in WW II at the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery for the military. This was a uncle who lost his life at the age of 18. We never met him, but have several of his medals and flag in our family. My dad along with several other relatives were veterans also with some having over 20 years of being in the military. I am forever thankful because I am surrounded by all this greatness and bravery just so I can live my life with such freedom. Thank You and God Bless all the veterans and others serving in the military today.
Sadly because my brain has begun to deteriorate due to my injuries I actually thought yesterday was veterans day. I am so sorry. plz forgive me fellow troops. I hang my head in shame. I send blessings to all of you, that are out, hurt or not, especially those who are suffering. I love you all. each and every branch for we are all a team. god bless every single one of you and remember the ones who will become veterans soon themselves fellow vets, for they will be entering unknown territory and will be frustrated and not know who to trust or what to do. I send a very special message to those who have not returned from war due to being captive. To me that can be worse than death itself.
even though I got my days mixed up due to my own injuries affecting my memory I FORGET THEE NOT! I LOVE ALL OF MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN ARMS, WHO HAVE SERVED, WHO ARE SERVING AND WHO WILL SERVE IN FUTURE BATTLES! **==
Anyone who feels the same way will be uplifted by this poignant video someone put together containing outstanding movie clips set to the most stirring rendition of “The Battle Hymn of The Republic” ever recorded.
In honor of all who served with reverence to those how “gave the last full measure of devotion.”
