Why do many public schools attend school on this veterans day?

And then they wonder why this generation could care less about events such as our veterans..
How sad is this. I doubt 1 day off would of set back any student.

It’s also a State holiday here in Alabama, and all public and most private schools are closed.
Haha i’m off school! high school ***** anyways, i’d rather be at home than in physics learning about how the rocket propels itsef into space.
